The all-rounder from the field

There are already a few mobile phone holders for bicycles on the market. However, the Rubberman is a bit out of line here. Because this friendly holder is punched from old tractor tubes and wears a ring made of recycled spring steel. It is a resource-saving recycled product that is made by hand with love. The farmers from the region are happy that they don't have to dispose of the old tube at great expense and the Hamburg inventor is just as happy to get new materials free of charge. So it's a win-win situation for farmer, manufacturer and the environment!

Each Rubberman is unique. If you are lucky, you will catch a tube part with imprints or embossings that remind you of the previous life of the Rubberman. The material is extremely durable and stretchy. The Rubberman has been successfully tested on the iPhones 4S, 6S, 7 and 8 including the case. Larger devices are also possible, but here the effort is higher and it is therefore less practical. The mount is ideal for handlebars with a standard diameter of approx. 22mm. However, it can also be used on handlebars up to 31.8mm. Before using it for the first time, the holder should be stretched properly once to make it easier to clamp the device.

In addition to smartphones, this holder can also hold other things such as a flashlight. This allows it to be used as a bicycle front light. Of course, the holder can also be attached to all other tubular objects. The possibilities are almost endless. For example, the smartphone can be attached to the push bar of a stroller or to a umbrella.

On the one hand, the steel ring serves as a stabilizing support, but it also has another extremely useful function. With the ring, the Rubberman can also be used as a stand for smartphones. For example, you can comfortably watch videos without having to hold the device in your hand. Also important: the camera, e.g. of an iPhone, is not covered by the holder. So you can also use the Rubberman as a film tripod.

The Rubberman from Retube is a great, sustainable and multifunctional gadget that appeals to technology and nature lovers alike.
