GREEN DISC Chain Care Set (Tool + 50ml Lubricant)

After the crowdfunding campaign of the FLECTR LUBRI DISC, which was successfully implemented in 2019, which was subsequently awarded the German Design Award in 2020, there is now a further development of the ingenious Chain care tool from FLECTR. We are talking about the GREEN DISC.

The GREEN DISC works on the same principle as the LUBRI DISC, but offers 25% more storage volume for the lubricant used and saves raw materials through a new locking mechanism and is therefore even more environmentally friendly!

As with the FLECTR LUBRI DISC, the GREEN DISC also saves up to 90% of lubricants through innovative functionality, which makes this type of chain care particularly resource-saving. Gone are the days when half of the oil goes on the frame or to the ground and your hands and clothes get dirty. Here nothing splashes through the area but the oil only ends up exactly where it should go: on your chain. The GREEN DISC applies just the right amount of lubricant that the chain needs and at the same time absorbs fine metal abrasion.

The FLECTR GREEN DISC stores oil in its internal, microporous and liquid-conducting rotating lubricating wheel. The housing of the GREEN DISC is held sideways between the index finger and thumb and the exposed lubrication wheel is slightly pressed on the chain and the crank is turned backwards. Lubrication is now fully automatic. Only two to three turns are sufficient and your chain is supplied.

During rotation, the soft lubrication wheel adapts to the shape of the chain and allows the absorbed lubricant to penetrate completely into the chain. Once filled, its capacity is enough to lubricate your bike chain up to ten times. The GREEN DISC can be easily refilled and has an unlimited service life. The lubrication wheel is replaceable and biodegradable. It is made from natural raw materials – without any plastics. The green housing is made of 100% recycled plastic.

In addition to the innovative tool, this set also contains the right lubricant. The FLECTR BIO CHAIN LUBE is a special bio-lubricant that not only cares for your chain, but also protects the environment. Made with basic plant-based components and other additives, it is biodegradable yet offers excellent wear protection. The lubricant has an extremely good adhesive power and guarantees a quiet and smooth running of your chain.
